Mr Ian Robinson, CEO of Beacon Lighting and President of the Bulky Goods Retailers Association (BGRA) responded to the Planning Minister, the Hon Matthew Guy’s announcement today, regarding changes to planning reforms relating to large format retailers by stating that “the welcome changes to the planning scheme bring a common sense approach to Victorian retail planning that has been missing for a decade”.
